Complaints and Content Removal Policy
Last updated: October 15, 2026
Draft pending legal review.
Anyone can tell us about content on a creator site hosted on MyFans that may be illegal, that shows them without their consent or that infringes their copyright. This policy explains how to report it, what we do with each report and how to ask us to review a decision.
Our approach
Every person who appears in content on a creator site is verified as an adult before that content can be published, and our moderation team reviews all content before it goes live. Reports are an extra safeguard: if something that should not be there gets through, we want to know, and we act on it.
Our rules on what is allowed are in our Acceptable Use Policy.
How to report
Every creator site has a “Report content” link in its footer, and each piece of content has its own report link. The report form asks you to choose one of these reasons:
- “Illegal content”: for example, content that involves a minor or non-consensual acts.
- “I appear in it without my consent”: you appear in the content and did not consent, or you have withdrawn your consent.
- “Copyright infringement (DMCA)”: the content uses your copyrighted work without your permission.
- “Other”: anything else that may break our rules.
You can also send a report by email to support@myfans.site. You do not need an account to report.
What to include
To help us find the content and act quickly, include:
- Your email address, so we can contact you if we need more information.
- The creator site and the content you are reporting, with links if you have them.
- What the problem is and why you are reporting it.
- Anything else that helps us review it, such as screenshots sent by email or details that show you are the person who appears in the content.
Illegal content
MyFans has zero tolerance for content involving minors or non-consensual acts, and for any other illegal content. Content reported as involving a minor or non-consensual acts is removed while we review it.
If we find child sexual abuse material, we remove it, report it to the CyberTipline of the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and cooperate with law enforcement, as the law requires.
If you believe someone is in immediate danger, contact your local police first.
People who appear in content
If you appear in content on a creator site and did not consent to it being recorded or published, or you have withdrawn your consent, you can ask us to remove it. Choose “I appear in it without my consent” in the report form, or write to support@myfans.site.
Tell us which content it is and give us anything that helps us confirm that you are the person who appears in it. We may ask you for more information to confirm your identity, and we use it only to handle your request.
What we do:
- Once we confirm that you appear in the content, we remove it.
- If the creator disputes your request, for example by saying that you consented, the content stays down while we review it.
- Depending on the case, we may take further action, such as suspending or closing the site.
- We tell the creator about our decision and the reason for it. We do not give them your email address or tell them who sent the report.
Creators must have the written consent of every person who appears in their content, and must tell us immediately if anyone withdraws their consent.
How we handle reports
Every report is reviewed by people on our moderation team and resolved within 5 business days. Content reported as involving a minor or non-consensual acts is removed while the review takes place.
Depending on what we find, we may:
- Take no action, if the content does not break the law or our rules.
- Take down the content.
- Hide a link to another platform or an item of the wishlist.
- Suspend the creator site or close it permanently.
- Ban a buyer from paying on any creator site.
- Report the matter to law enforcement or to NCMEC.
We email the creator about every decision that affects them, with the reason. We never share the identity or the email address of the person who reported with the creator.
We do not send every reporter an update on the outcome, but we may contact you if we need more information. While a report about a site is open, the payouts of that site are on hold until the report is resolved.
Copyright notices
We respond to notices of claimed copyright infringement under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe that content on a creator site infringes your copyright, send us a written notice with the following elements, as required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3):
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or of a person authorized to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed or, if a single notice covers several works, a representative list of them.
- Identification of the material you claim is infringing and want removed, with enough information for us to find it, such as its link.
- Your contact information: name, address, telephone number and, if you have one, email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
Send your notice through the report form, choosing “Copyright infringement (DMCA)”, by email to support@myfans.site, or by mail to:
KF CC LLC30 N GOULD ST STE R SHERIDAN WY 82801When we receive a notice that meets these requirements, we remove or disable access to the material and notify the creator, who may then send a counter-notice.
Counter-notices
If your content was removed because of a copyright notice and you believe it was removed by mistake or misidentification, you can send us a counter-notice with the following elements, as required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3):
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed or disabled, and of where it appeared before it was removed.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district where your address is located or, if your address is outside the United States, for any judicial district in which we may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the notice or their agent.
Send your counter-notice by email to support@myfans.site or by mail to the address above. We forward a copy to the person who sent the original notice, including the contact details it contains.
We restore the material between ten and fourteen business days after we receive the counter-notice, as 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(2)(C) provides, unless the person who sent the original notice first tells us that they have filed a court action to stop the alleged infringement.
Repeat infringers
In appropriate circumstances, we close the accounts of creators who repeatedly infringe the copyrights of others.
Appeals
If you are a creator and you disagree with a decision about your content or your site, reply to the email that told you about it, or write to support@myfans.site, and explain why you think the decision should be reviewed.
If you reported content, or you appear in content, and you disagree with how we handled it, you can also write to support@myfans.site and ask us to review it again.
We look at every appeal again and reply within a reasonable time. Removals based on a copyright notice follow the counter-notice process described above.
Complaints about the service
If your complaint is about MyFans itself rather than about content, for example about your account or how we handled a request, write to support@myfans.site. For payments, cancellations and refunds, see Billing, Cancellation and Refund Policy.
False reports
Please only report content that you honestly believe breaks the law or our rules. Knowingly false or misleading reports or notices, including reports sent to harass a creator, may lead us to take action on any account you have with us and may expose you to legal liability.
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), anyone who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages. If you are not sure whether content infringes your rights, consider getting legal advice before you send a notice.
Confidentiality
We treat reports as confidential. We use the information you send us only to review and resolve the report, to protect the people involved and to meet our legal obligations.
We do not share a reporter’s identity or email address with the creator. We share report information only when it is needed to handle the report, for example with our professional advisers, or with the authorities when the law requires it. A copyright counter-notice is forwarded to the person who sent the notice, as described above.
For more about how we handle personal data, see our Privacy Policy.
